Adobe Media Server Authentication Add-in (Optional)

The Adobe Media Server Authentication Add In is an optional add on to Adobe Media Server which enables users to authenticate to Adobe Media Server when they connect from Flash Media Live Encoder. This file will install an authentication library in your Adobe Media Server install directory and it will also create a command line utility called users.exe which can be used to generate usernames and passwords that can be used in Flash Media Live Encoder to authenticate against Adobe Media Server.

Download and install this file on your Adobe Media Server if you administer your own Adobe Media Server deployment and you want to require publishers connecting to your server with Flash Media Live Encoder to authenticate with approved credentials.

The Adobe Media Server Authentication Add-In is available for all editions of Adobe Media Server, and can be used with both Flash Media Live Encoder 3.0 and 3.1.
